ANTHONY RICHARDSON has changed his name ahead of the 2025 NFL season.
The switch will see the name on the back of his Indianapolis Colts jersey change.

Richardson, 23, welcomed the birth of his son during the offseason.
His son has been named Anthony Richardson Jr after his quarterback father.
This means that the Colts’ star will now go by Anthony Richardson Sr.
This will likely see the back of his jersey now read “Richardson Sr” rather than just “Richardson”.
Fans have reacted to the change on social media.
One posted: “New chapter unlocked for Richardson Sr. off the field too..”
A second wrote: “Conrgrats Anthony.”
A third commented: “Will it really make a difference when he’s riding the bench by week 5?”
A fourth said: “Milestone moment for the Colts quarterback.”
Another added: “He’s back baby. Look out NFL.”
He is in a battle with Daniel Jones to be the No. 1 signal caller at the Colts for next season.
Richardson is heading into his third season with the team since being selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
But has has played just 15 times in two seasons so far through a mix of injuries and poor play.
He was benched during the 2024 season after withdrawing from the match against the Houston Texans despite being fit.
He did return to the line-up before the season ended, but now has competition from Jones.
