JACK Nicholson is reportedly supporting his grandson as he pleaded not guilty to domestic violence on Tuesday morning.
The U.S. Sun was the first to break Sean Knight Nicholson‘s arrest in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 5, after he allegedly knocked a woman unconscious.

The 29-year-old is facing four years in prison for the alleged attack on the woman, who The U.S. Sun is choosing not to name but who was present at his hearing on Tuesday.
Judge Keith Schwartz made a criminal protective order for the alleged victims’ safety after Nicholson entered his not guilty plea during the arraignment.
He has to stay 100 years away from the accuser, not harass her, and must stay clear of Pepperdine University.
Nicholson’s lawyer, Andrew Fuller, told The U.S. Sun outside of the courtroom, “He’s in a program, a residential treatment center. He’s been there 20 days and will be there for some time thereafter based on his progress.
“But we’re really confident we can resolve this case and he can move on.
“He’s a nice young man, he really is, with no record and he wants to get past this.
“The family fully supports him, absolutely, including Jack, the King.”
The U.S. Sun has reached out to the actor’s rep for comment.
The accuser, 28, declined to talk about the case when leaving court with her lawyer after also filing a civil restraining order which was handed to Nicholson in court on Tuesday.
In the filing, she claimed Nicholson reached out to her fresh out of rehab as he was struggling.
“He threatened to take a full bottle of Valium if I did not come over,” it reads.
The woman, who had not see Nicholson since last year, said she agreed to go to his apartment in Venice, Los Angeles.
“I noticed he had taken pills along with alcohol and cocaine,” she said in the documents.
According to a police report, first obtained by PEOPLE, he later grabbed the accuser “by the neck and head and threw her into an unidentified hard object.
“Victim stated that she blacked out and when she opened her eyes realized her tooth had broken,” the report claims.
The accuser allegedly fled the apartment and was found by a security guard but Nicholson is said to have escorted her back upstairs before police were called.
Nicholson is allegedly a recovering addict diagnosed with schizophrenia, and has a history of mixing prescription medication with illicit substances, per the police report.
A spokeswoman for the LAPD‘s Pacific Division told The U.S. Sun they would not be releasing a mugshot.
Nicholson was released the same day as he was arrested earlier this month on a $50,000 bond, officials confirmed.
Nicholson is the son of The Shining stars’ first child, Jennifer, who was born in 1963 during his marriage to Sandra Knight, before they divorced five years later.
He describes himself as a music composer on his Instagram bio with mentions of “horror composition, experimental club, hardcore, dark ambient,” and “phonk” genres.

He has a few IMDB credits from projects he has worked on and also references in his bio, “Patron of the Dark Arts”.
Other posts on his Instagram show him posing topless and wearing bizarre gothic attire, while others feature dark graphic art.
Sean is also a DJ going by the name Cutter Mattock.
Actor Nicholson, 88, has a total of six children and at least five grandchildren, including Sean’s brother Duke, who is following in his father’s footsteps and has appeared in a handful of movies.
Jennifer welcomed her sons with her ex-husband, Mark Norfleet, whom she divorced in 2003.
Norfleet was present with his son at court on Tuesday.
Nicholson will appear back in court for his preliminary hearing in October.
