MICAH Parsons’ contract saga has taken yet another twist.
On Thursday, neither Parsons nor Jerry Jones were present at Dallas Cowboys training camp.

Parsons is holding out as he awaits a new contract or a trade from the Cowboys.
However, at previous training sessions he was on the field with his teammates.
That changed on Thursday, as he was nowhere to be found.
Jones has typically showed up to camp as well, but he failed to make an appearance on Thursday.
Every day passes approaching the NFL season adds more fuel to the fire indicating that Parsons might hold out of the 2025 season.
Based on his comments, it seems that Parsons would prefer to play the 2025 season, he would just rather it be with a team that isn’t the Cowboys.
He released a massive statement requesting a trade last month.
“Yes I wanted to be here,” Parsons said.
“I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a Cowboy and wear the star on my helmet.
“I wanted to play in front of the best fans in sports and make this Americas team once again.
“The team my pops and I grew up cheering for way up in Harrisburg, PA. Unfortunately I no longer want to be here.
“I no longer want to be held to close door negotiations without my agent present.
“I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization our fans and my teammates.
“I no longer want narratives created and spread to the media about me.
“I had purposely stayed quiet in hopes of getting something done.”
The Cowboys reportedly have no interest in trading Parsons, but that leaves the two sides at an impass.
If Parsons won’t sign an extension and the team won’t trade him, he could lose the entire 2025 season.
Parsons hasn’t indicated if he would skip the regular season if he doesn’t get a contract, but it feels very possible at this point.
