Greed is a consistent theme, as viewers soon meet covert operative Zora Bennett, who along with palaeontologist Dr Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), has been employed to go on a secret mission by Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend), the boss of a pharmaceutical company.
But despite the gripping dinosaur storyline and star studded cast, it’s a new photo of Jonathan and Scarlett that has caught fan attention this week.
The sultry snap was posted by Bridgerton star Jonathan, as he seductively bit Scarlett’s neck.
He penned: “SCARLETT,” as she gazed at the camera in some purple shades.
Fans were raving about the photo of them together, as one person penned: “Scarlet Johnson is living every girls dream.”
A second penned: “They need to be in another movie together.”
And a third penned: “I don’t know if I want to be Scarlett or Jonathan.”
Jonathan is openly gay, and Scarlett is married to Colin Jost, but that didn’t stop fans from pleading with them to be a couple.
It comes after the pair sparked a big buzz online after sharing a platonic kiss on the red carpet in June, while promoting their new movie.
Scarlett placed her hands on either side of Jonathan’s face and held her lips against his as they enjoyed a viral red carpet moment.
Movie star Scarlett’s husband Colin even had his say about the kiss, joking: “I guess in Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you never thought was there. Of all the threats out there, I wasn’t thinking it was Jonathan.”
He added: “Jonathan is an out gay man. It didn’t seem like the biggest threat.
“People really blow it out of proportion when someone kisses their friend hello.”
The pair have locked lips on two separate occasions on the red carpet now.
Chatting about it on Entertainment Tonight, d star WickeJonathan said: “I believe in being able to show love in all different ways. And if you can’t kiss your friends …life’s too short not to.”
Scarlett has been married twice before.
Her first marriage was to actor Ryan Reynolds with the pair tying the knot in 2008 and then separated in 2010, filing for divorce in 2011.
“We entered our relationship with love, and it’s with love and kindness that we leave it,” they said in a joint statement at the time.
Just a little over a year later, Reynolds was married to actress, Blake Lively.
Scarlett remarried in 2014 to Romain Dauriac with whom she had Rose.
They called it quits in 2017 and soon after the actress started dating Colin.
The 40-year-old actress has also had long-term relationships with singer Jack Antonoff, actor Josh Hartnett and businessman Nate Naylor.
Jonathan Bailey is not currently dating anyone publicly.
It’s believed that the star was in a relationship with fellow actor James Ellis in 2019.
