The Vols scored their third touchdown in just the first quarter.
So one UAB defender took out their anger on the opponent.
After Tennessee kicked an extra point, UAB safety Sirad Bryant was flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
ESPN’s cameras showed a replay of the play, as Bryant was shown stomping on the right foot of Vols kicker Max Gilbert.
Bryant initially ran into Tennessee holder Jackson Ross before cleating Gilbert.
Ross then ran after Bryant after at least three referees threw flags on the field.
ESPN’s broadcast didn’t hold back on Bryant’s actions.
“Oh, that’s bush!” “What is that about?!” an announcer said.
“Not only bush league, but just stupid…
“Walk over there and stomp on a kicker’s foot.”
UAB’s undispline was also shown in the first quarter when cornerback Donald Lee was ejected for targeting.
Tennessee led UAB 21-0 after halftime.
They would go on to claim the 56-24 victory.
Former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer’s struggles have continued as UAB’s head coach.

UAB is 9-18 under Dilfer as they finished 3-9 last season.
This season, the Blazers are 2-2.
Tenneessee, meanwhile, is 3-1.
Quarterback Joey Aguilar passed for two touchdowns.
The Vols will face MS State next week while UAB will host Army.
