THE Kansas City Chiefs are set to begin their 2025 season, and are seeking revenge for last year’s Super Bowl loss.
With the season so close, Andy Reid has revealed how he thinks his team will fare in 2025.

One of the major position groups that Reid pointed out was the offensive line, and how he thinks it will do well to protect Patrick Mahomes.
“I thought the offensive line did a nice job,” Reid told reporters.
“[They] gave Pat time. The run game? We were efficient in the run game.
“So it starts up there. I thought the receivers caught the ball, [the] tight end caught the ball and everybody contributed.
“Pat looks smooth [and] confident — [and] trusts in that group.
“So I thought it was a pretty smooth operation for tonight.”
The Chiefs are going to need their offensive line at its best, as the team is making a push for one more Super Bowl with Travis Kelce.
It is likely that Kelce is playing his final season in 2025, and the Chiefs will want him to go out with a bang.
ESPN recently reported that all signs point towards this being the last for the tight end.
“Since he announced his return to the Chiefs in late February, all signs have pointed to the 2025 season being Kelce’s last,” ESPN reported.
“Since June, Kelce, who is in the final year of his contract, has spoken about his future with the team through only this season.
“Several members of the Chiefs’ organization, in the front office and business department, are coy to use the word ‘retirement,’ but they have already expressed their appreciation for Kelce’s importance to the franchise and have said they hope to experience plenty of joy while cherishing his performances.”
It took Kelce a while to announce he was returning for he 2025 NFL season, but eventually locked himself in for one more ride.
Mahomes isn’t sure if this will be the end, and if anything he thinks he will get even better in 2025.

“If it’s the last ride, you would never know,” Mahomes told reporters earlier this year.
“The way he’s talking about football. The way he’s talking about working and trying to be even better this year than he was last year.
“He doesn’t seem like a guy like it’s his last ride, like he’s tired of the job.”
The Chiefs are set to open their season in Brazil against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, September 5.
