Entering Wednesday, the training camp location at Missouri Western State University expected rain and storms.

At 10:38 am ET, it was revealed that the Chiefs are evacuating fans due to lightning in the St. Joseph area, per local media outlet KQ2.

The Chiefs have yet to share another update on the weather situation.

Kansas City’s evacuation decision comes six days after the team revealed they closed last Friday’s practice due to bad weather and flooding in the area.
