THE Kansas City Chiefs have been forced to delay training camp.
Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the squad are already working hard to get redemption for the Super Bowl loss last season.

Like other NFL teams, the Chiefs hold public training camp sessions so fans can watch them perform.
However, on day four of training camp, that practice came to a halt.
Fans received a message on the morning of practice to let them know that weather would impact camp.
“Due to inclement weather, today’s practice has moved indoors and is no longer open to the public,” the message said.
“We apologize for the inconvenience. If you would like to attend Training Camp on a different day, please visit ‘My Chiefs Account’ to secure your spot.”
Those plans eventually changed as weather improved, and the Chiefs returned to outdoor practice.
However, fans were not in attendance
Fans were not in attendance as Mahomes notably struggled to start camp.
Chiefs reporter Pete Sweeney detailed how Mahomes is having trouble with the deep ball early in camp.
“In the late-practice 11-on-11 period, Mahomes floated a ball deep downfield just out of the reach of WR Hollywood Brown,” he said on X.
“Mahomes tried another deep ball down the middle of the field to WR Xavier Worthy, but Conner and CB Nohl Williams showed good coverage and ensured the play was incomplete.
“In Mahomes’ final turn at 11-on-11, he tried another deep pass from the 50-yard line to Worthy, but it was broken up by LB Drue Tranquill (not a typo) in the end zone.
“CB Jaylen Watson broke up Mahomes’ final pass in 11s intended for TE Robert Tonyan.”
These struggles come after Mahomes insisted that the Chiefs need to get better during camp to return to the Super Bowl.
“You always have to get better,” he said.
