THE Kansas City Chiefs have shared a major injury update concerning a star offensive player ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs saw a key Travis Kelce teammate go down with an injury earlier this week at training camp.

On Wednesday, second-year wideout Xavier Worthy took a shot to the head during practice.
Worthy entered concussion protocol and was expected to be out of practice for the rest of the week.
But after missing Thursday’s practice, the Texas product returned to the practice field.
Reid then shared that Worthy’s initial concussion diagnosis was inaccurate.
The three-time Super Bowl champion coach told reporters that while Worthy was in concussion protocol, he never got diagnosed with a concussion and was cleared to return to practice by the NFL and team’s medical personnel.
Reid then said that some liquid found its way into Worthy’s ear and head area, which disrupted his equilibrium.
But Worthy took his talents to the field on Friday morning for a padded practice.
Fans reacted to the positive update on the 22-year-old speedster.
“Good news,” one wrote.
“Oh thank god that it wasn’t a concussion It’s good news for everyone around #ChiefsKingdom,” a second commented.
“Thank god he’s okay,” a third said.
Worthy has been expected to be Patrick Mahomes’ No. 1 wideout target for the start of the season.
Star wide receiver Rashee Rice is expected to miss a chunk of games due to a suspension.
Worthy enjoyed a productive rookie season with the Chiefs, posting 742 total yards with nine touchdowns.

He had an even better showing in the playoffs, recording 19 receptions for 287 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
The Chiefs will now worry about their other injured wideouts, Skyy Moore and Hollywood Brown.
Moore tweaked his hamstring in practice, and Brown went down with an ankle injury that forced him to be carted off the field.
Fortunately, it’s been reported that Brown avoided a serious injury.

The Chiefs will now prepare for the Arizona Cardinals in their first preseason game on Saturday, August 9.
