Kelly Clarkson Show fans baffled by line-up of repeat episodes just weeks after cancellation fears

KELLY Clarkson’s fans are confused after her upcoming episodes appear to be repeats for the entire week.

On Sunday, June 22, The Kelly Clarkson Show dropped her guest line-up for the week of June 23 on Instagram, as per usual.

However, fans noticed the announced celebrity guests, including Kevin Bacon, Allison Williams, Jimmy Fallon and Martha Stewart, were all featured on the show earlier in the season- leading them to realize the episodes were all going to be repeats.

“All repeats!” complained one follower.

“Ahh right repeats,” said another. “She’s on summer break!”

“She’s probably on vacation, same episodes that we’ve seen before,” chimed in a third.

“We have to get new people on the show!” followed a fourth fan.

It is unclear how long Kelly will be on a break from taping new episodes, though she will certainly be busy with her Las Vegas concert residency, which kicks off on July 4.

She will perform dates regularly through August 16, then have a break from the stage until November 7.

STEPPING AWAY FROM TALK SHOW?

Kelly’s fans feared she was quitting her talk show duties after rumors swirled that Today alum Hoda Kotb would take over.

However, Hoda recently shut down the reports on Today while promoting her new wellness app, Joy 101.

“I do want to ask you about this rumor,” Today’s Craig Melvin said to his former co-host.

“People are seeing these articles, texting these things. Hoda’s getting back in the business, Hoda’s taking over for Kelly Clarkson, Hoda’s doing daytime talk. What say you?”

“I want to ask y’all a real question,” Hoda responded. “If I ever came back to TV, do you know where the only place I would ever come back to is? Right here. This is the spot. There’s no place like home.”

“So the rumors are done,” Craig said.

“Delete, delete. Not true,” Hoda replied.

Kelly also sparked concern when she abruptly went missing from the show for several weeks in March.

She returned without discussing her absence, but a source claimed she was privately coping with a family issue.

According to NewsNation, her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock was sick, so she took her kids to visit him.

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, Kelly has no plans to leave her show despite her Las Vegas residency schedule.

“The Kelly Show is NBC’s number one daytime priority and is in no way in any danger of being canceled,” a source said.

“There are big plans for the future of the franchise and the network encourages Kelly to take gigs outside of the show because it only helps her talk show’s viewership too.”
