SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Many in KELOLAND had a dry day today with highs in the 70s and 80s. While western South Dakota will watch for strong to severe storms this evening and early tonight, all of KELOLAND will have to be on guard for severe weather over the next several days.
We’re entering our peak time for severe weather and the Storm Prediction Center is highlighting KELOLAND.
The risk for severe weather tomorrow has been ramped up to a slight risk in western South Dakota. That slight risk expands farther to the east on Sunday.
As heat and humidity continue into next week, there’s already a day 4 outlook for Monday in KELOLAND and a day 5 outlook, Tuesday, to our south.
It won’t take much for these outlooks to change. In fact, I encourage you to stay attuned to the weather and look for updates on severe weather this weekend and early next week.
