Kohl’s unveils new fall offer in plea to win back shoppers

KOHL’s is expanding its fall sale event, giving consumers an extra day to shop.

Kohl’s announced on September 16 that its fall savings event is increasing from a three day event to four.

The 4-Day Cyber Deals event is set to run from October 6 to October 9.

The sale comes just in time for “families to stock up on key fall essentials and kickstart holiday shopping with savings up to 50% off,” the retailer said.

The event delivers sales across thousands of products ranging from apparel to footwear, beauty, home and accessories.

Deals can be found online and in-store.

Kohl’s is also offering shoppers a coupon for 25% off their purchase.

In addition to the coupon, shoppers can receive free shipping on all online orders and earn $10 in Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent during the sales event.

Kohl’s Cash works like a cash-back coupon that can be used for future purchases at the retailer during the period stated on the reward.

However Kohl’s Cash cannot be used at any of the Sephoras inside Kohl’s locations.

Shoppers can expect to see 40% off kitchen appliances and cookware, 50% off bedding and luggage and 30% off toys.

The store will also be selling pillows and towels starting at $3.99, sweaters starting at $19.99 and kids’ footwear starting at $14.99.

Other major retailers are launching sales events in October.

Target announced it would release 20,000 new products, double the amount in 2024, ahead of the holiday season.

The retailer’s sales event will run from October 5 to October 11 .

Target is taking a more affordable approach amid nationwide boycotts against the retailer. The company will offer thousands of items starting at $5.

Target also announced it would sell beauty products, decor and toys under $20.

Target will also launch “Target Circle Week” on October 5 for members of the free rewards program, featuring deals on fall styles, everyday essentials and holiday gifts.

The Circle Week event kicks off just days before Amazon jumpstarts its holiday shopping season with its Prime Big Deal Days event.

Amazon will offer curated shopping lists to give consumers some holiday gift inspo.

The Prime Big Deal Days event will provide deals on popular brands like KitchenAid, LEGO, Milk Makeup and Beats.

The company will offer additional sales on festive decor, travel gear, everyday essentials and snacks.

Amazon kicked off the season of deals early, offering a Top 25 Early Holiday Gift Deals list in addition to sales on select artist’s merch, promotions on Amazon devices and Amazon brands.

Walmart recently shared its top toys list for the 2025 holiday season, releasing a list of 25 toys for under $25.

The list features toys like Disney princess dolls, Connect 4 Frenzy, LEGO Marvel Minifigures, a folding scooter and more.
