KRIS Humphries – who was famously married to Kim Kardashian for just 72 days – lives in a massive Minnesota mansion and has found success in business after retiring from public life.
Kris, 40, and Kim, 44, began dating towards the end of 2010 and got engaged just months later in May 2011 in a proposal filmed for the family’s E! reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Throughout their relationship, her family expressed doubt over the union because of their different personalities, with mom Kris Jenner even encouraging Kim to not go through with the wedding at the rehearsal dinner.

Then, just 72 days later, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce on October 31, 2011, with the spinoff Kourtney and Kim Take New York showing the demise of their marriage.

Off the dining room is a wrap-around balcony with additional seating.
The master bedroom features carpeting and a balcony that overlooks the lake.
The bedroom connects to a private bathroom that boasts a massive tub ideal for the 6″9 basketball star and duel sinks with plenty of counter space.
There is also a big walk-in closet.
The home also features an indoor basketball court, where Kris could continue his love for the game years after his 2019 retirement.
The home also has a three-car garage.

Kris has posted multiple Instagram photos since purchasing the home for $2.5 million in 2017.

Kris has went from dribbling basketballs to cashing in on lucrative deals in Minnesota.
Kris owns Five Guys, Crisp & Green and Dave’s Hot Chicken franchises throughout Minnesota.
Kris is the owner of two Crisp & Green locations in Maple Grove and Dinkytown.
He also owns Dave’s Hot Chicken with plans to open 18 across the state.
He continues to own over 10 Five Guys locations in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.

RELATIONSHIP DRAMA
Kris hasn’t had many high-profile relationships after his divorce from Kim.
While he was spotted getting cozy with tennis and pickleball player Genie Bouchard at an event in 2024, he has kept his dating life under wraps.
Staying single could have to do with his long and nasty divorce from Kim.
Kris had hit back at her divorce filing with a request for an annulment, citing “fraud.”
He claimed she went through with the marriage as a publicity stunt for Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
But Kim denies his claim, as she told Oprah Winfrey in 2012, “I think obviously when people first meet and they fall in love, everything is great at the beginning.
“And for me, I didn’t spend more than I think a full week with my ex before we got married. We never lived together.”
The two ultimately did go through with the divorce, and she was ordered to give Kris her engagement ring, which was auctioned off for $749,000.
Kim claimed she was the one who purchased the ring, with Kris contributing just one fifth to the emerald-carat diamond.
In a 2019 essay for The Players’ Tribune, he opened up about how the marriage had a lasting effect on him.
“When it was clear that it wasn’t working … what can I say? It sucked,” Kris penned. “It’s never easy to go through the embarrassment of something like that—with your friends, with your family.
“But when it plays out so publicly, in front of the world, it’s a whole other level. It was brutal.”
Kris continued that he was in a “dark place” for a year and didn’t want to leave his home.
He wrote, “I didn’t want to be Kris Humphries. It’s the craziest feeling in the world, not wanting to be yourself. And I didn’t even want to say anything to defend myself, because it felt like I couldn’t win.”
The former Nets player said, “I’m trying to stay under the radar and work on a new phase of my life.”
As for Kim, she went on to welcome four children North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with Kanye West.
They were married from 2014 to 2021.
