KROGER has confirmed it has made a major change to its coupon policy, and all you need to do is check the store fronts.
The US retailer is finding new ways to make shopping more convenient for you.

Kroger has rolled out a new way to use its Weekly Digital Deals.
Now, shoppers can use flyers posted at the store fronts to download all of the digital deals and keep them in one place.
You can also scan the flyer at checkout to access the deals there, making it easier for non-digitally savvy shoppers, too.
This is only being rolled out at select Kroger locations, it is important to note.
A spokesperson for Kroger said: “We are always listening to our customers to create a better shopping experience.
“To make it simpler for our customers to take advantage of the full value our stores offer, we are providing an easy-to-use flyer that customers can scan to save with digital coupons.”
To use the flyers, you scan the bar code at checkout after entering your Kroger loyalty ID or scanning a loyalty card.
This code will take you to all the Weekly Digital Deals offered that week at once.
Once you have access to the deals, you can select which ones you want to redeem digitally.
GOING DIGITAL
The Kroger addition comes as digital coupons are being used more widely, according to data.
Analysis by Capital One shows that in 2024, 165.5 million American consumers, roughly 62% of adults, redeemed a digital coupon.
The vast majority of those, at 94%, were redeemed on a smartphone while shopping online.
Only 35% of those surveyed said they used digital coupons while shopping in a store.
Despite this, the rate of coupon usage is growing, and in 2024, 26% of U.S. consumers used more coupons than in the previous year.
Kroger delivery policy

Kroger offers same day delivery via Instacart
Shoppers can pay $6.95 for delivery within two hours.
Those who need something quicker can get items in as little as 30 minutes.
Orders must be a minimum of $10 to get quicker delivery.
Customers can save $15 on their first delivery order of $75 or more
The study found that “Coupon redemption and distribution rates are rising following a period of decline in the early 2020s both for digital coupons and traditional printed coupons like free-standing inserts (FSIs).”
An FSI refers to a promotional coupon that is often found in a newspaper or magazine, but is printed on a separate piece of paper.
The coupon is not bound into the publication itself, and acts as a handy way to distribute price discounts and promotional offers.
Capital One also found that 45% of American shoppers prefer to receive grocery coupons through email.
This makes it the most popular method, with mobile apps at 39.6% and printed ads at 33.2%.
Digital coupons are said to offer the best savings for grocery shoppers, with an average of $316 saved annually per person.
This is an average of 15.8% off each purchase, and a coupon success rate of 45.9%.
Digital coupons are becoming more widely used compared to FSIs, too.
From 2019 to 2021, digital coupon use increased from 63% of consumers to 67%.
In the same period, paper coupon use decreased from 75% to 64%.
In 2023, 67% of consumers used digital coupons while 59% used physical paper coupons.
