Lamar Jackson injury latest after Baltimore Ravens quarterback was forced out of Kansas City Chiefs defeat

THE Baltimore Ravens are sweating on the fitness of star quarterback Lamar Jackson – after their worst start to a season in a decade.

Five injured Ravens were forced out of the game at Arrowhead Stadium.

And play-caller Jackson, 28, was among them, leaving midway through the third quarter.

Jackson was sacked by Chiefs defensive end George Karlaftis and did not return to the game.

He was seen sat on the sideline, flexing an injury in his right leg.

Harbaugh confirmed following the loss that Jackson was dealing with a hamstring strain, per ESPN.

But he refused to be draw on the severity of the injury to the two-time MVP.

“I really don’t have the answer to that right now,” he admitted.

Harbaugh could only watch on as Jackson failed to deal with the Kansas City blitz.

Linebacker Roquan Smith, cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey and Nate Wiggins and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley were also forced out with injuries.

“There’s nothing that looks like it’s season-ending by any stretch for anybody,” Harbaugh added.

Jackson has not missed a game since he was sidelined for the final five regular-season games in 2022 with a knee injury.

He was not made available to reporters after Sunday’s loss.

The Ravens have now dropped to 1-3, their worst start since 2015.

Baltimore have only lost three of their opening four matches to a season twice in franchise history.

On both occasions they have failed to make the playoffs.

“The three losses are against probably three of the top teams in the league, for sure,” Harbaugh continued.

“That’s just the hand we’ve been dealt, but it doesn’t really matter.

“We’ve got to win the next game. Then, once you win the next game, then you have a chance to start stacking some wins.

“That’s what we’ve got to do big-picture-wise.”
