A LEGENDARY Asian supermarket is set to open up a new location in a US state, and there are four more coming.
This new store will mark the third new state that the chain has entered in the past year.
Asian supermarket chain H Mart is arriving in Orlando, Florida, per its website.
The store has been in the works for several years now, but H Mart has finally posted job listing for the spot.
H Mart is currently looking to fill both full-time and part-time Store Associate roles in the Orlando store.
There is not yet an exact date for when the store will open, but these job listings suggest it will be coming soon.
The store will be located at 7501 W. Colonial Drive.
This will mark the third new state that H Mart has come to in roughly the past year, having previously opened in Nevada and Utah.
The chain debuted in Las Vegas earlier this year and Utah in June 2024.
Along with the store in Florida, H Mart has four other locations coming listed on its website.
Two will be coming to California, and two in Texas.
H Mart already has 18 locations in the Golden State, and will be opening in Dublin and Westminster.
In Texas, where you can already find six H Mart stores, the chain will be opening up in Dallas and Austin.
Local news reports also say that a H Mart is planning a new store in Sugar Land in the greater Houston area.
As far as changes go, last summer H Mart has added both Uber and DoorDash as delivery partners.
H Mart currently has over a hundred stores in the US in total, and was founded in 1982 in New York City.
NEW TARGETS
Target has announced that it will be opening 48 new stores across 22 states.
The states include Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas and Utah.
Florida and Texas lead the way with six new stores each.
Target‘s website reads: “From the Big Apple to the California coast and in between, our stores are at the center of how we serve our guests.
“And that’s why we’re continuing to invest in new stores in neighborhoods across the country.
“We’re always exploring locations for new stores. But how do we decide where to open a new Target next?
“We look at a number of factors, like how we can best meet a community’s needs, site constraints, other area Target stores and more.
“And each step of the way, we work closely with local officials and guests to develop stores that truly make shopping easy, inspiring and affordable.”
