COUNTRY music singer Sammy Kershaw has broken his silence after being caught at an airport carrying a loaded gun.
The star was in Louisiana when the incident occurred on May 28.

An issue with his bag arose and he was slapped with a $5,000 penalty after the luggage was searched, as reported by Taste of Country.
Kershaw, 67, has since spoken out about what unfolded inside the airport in Lafayette.
“It was early, I was half-awake and clearly not thinking straight,” he said.
He has since told his fanbase to double check their luggage.
“Check your bags, check ‘em twice. Let’s all stay safe out there,” he said.
The U.S. Sun has approached Kershaw for comment.
