GRAMMY award-winning rapper Lil Jon won third place in a Muscle Beach fitness competition on Monday.
The musician made his debut at the Muscle Beach championship in LA in the Men’s Physique Master’s Over 45 category.

He flexed his muscles, showing off his jacked shirtless figure, and ended up earning a bronze medal.
Though for the Grammy studded star and home renovation show host, the competition was about far more than physique.
Lil Jon, 54, said he’s been through a lot trying to change his lifestyle, and hopes he can go on to encourage others to embrace healthy habits.
“It’s been a lot physically, just in the gym, dedication eating focus,” he said.
“One of the things I hope is that I can be an inspiration to so many people who say, ‘Oh, I don’t have time. I can’t do it.’ If I can do it, then you can do it too.”
Lil Jon’s personal trainer Jay Galvin excitedly celebrated the win on Instagram, sharing a photo of his client proudly wearing the medal.
“My bro Lil Jon came straight off a plane to his first show ever and took third place,” Galvin captioned the post, glowing with pride.
Muscle Beach Venice’s Instagram account also made a post, where fans flooded to the comments section to praise Lil Jon’s success.
“This is epic,” one fan commented.
“Turn down for what!!!,” and “Mic drop,” remarked others.
The Muscle Beach championship is an annual amateur competition that attracts athletes from all over the world.
Some of its various categories include bodybuilding, physique, bikini, and wellness.
Lil Jon had been preparing for this year’s competition for a while, posting workout videos on his social media channels, as well as guided meditations for his followers.
