“Although it has been part of our life together for the past 36 years, saying goodbye to Lisa, knowing I won’t be seeing her for over three weeks, never gets any less heartbreaking.
Kevin went on to reveal that Josh is going to be joining his Brotherhood of Rock Tour with Styx and Don Felder as a new assistant tour manager.
Heaping praise on his boy, he continued: “Josh has a degree in Music Industry from USC, took care of the business end of Sir Please, and toured as the merch guy with Sara and the Sundays.
“So for the rest of the summer tour, I will have a little bit of home out here with me. Josh grew up around touring, has travelled extensively, and is an all-around bright, sociable, hard-working lad. He is a welcome addition to the awesome KCB crew.”
He concluded the caption: “Pictured: Father and Son prepare to hit the road.”
Kevin’s fans flocked to the comments section as one optimistically gushed: “Kevin, this is so awesome for you and Josh. Perhaps some fans will be lucky and get to see Josh sing a song or two with KCB during this tour.”
