A LOVE Island USA contestant has been called out by his mom for ‘having sex on camera’ in an X-rated scene.
On the seventh season of the Peacock show, Nicolas ‘Nic’ Vansteenberghe has ruffled feathers since his debut on the very first day.

The 24-year-old registered nurse is currently coupled up with Olandia Carthen, 27.
However, he shared an intimate moment under the covers with his former partner Cierra Ortega, 25, as several fellow castmates were sleeping nearby.
However, Nic was left completely shocked when his mother and sister jetted to Fiji as part of the family twist on Love Island USA.
The pair confronted their loved-one over his raunchy antics in the villa on Friday’s episode.
In a clip that has been circulating on TikTok, his mom asked: “Nicolas, in public like that?”
His sibling was not backwards in coming forward either as she joked: “We’ve seen you in the sheets. We’ve caught the night cameras.”
However, the reality star shrugging off his family’s comments as he exclaimed: “Oh, sorry about that.
“We move on from that,” before insisting that the incident didn’t count as ‘public.’
This comes after Cierra’s departure from the villa for ‘personal reasons’ and removal from the show just a few days earlier.
She faced severe backlash from fans of the show after old social media posts resurfaced, which fans allege contained a racial slur.
Yulissa Escobar was also ejected from the villa and current contestant Huda Mustafa was recently accused of seemingly ‘lip syncing’ a racial slur.
The U.S. Sun previously revealed that the show’s producers plan to make their casting process more strict after the controversy.
An insider claimed to The U.S. Sun, “Starting next season, we are going to get some people working on looking way more into the social media presence and the articles, pictures and public things that potential contestants did before trying to get onto the show.
“We are going to hire more people to dig into people’s past and things they did in public and really brush out their social media and old posts to see if anything controversial came out of there.

“If there is anything racist, sexist or offensive in there, the person won’t be allowed to be considered as a potential participant on the show. We can’t have any more situations where we deal with racist behavior.”
The source added: “We are going to make some adjustments for the recruitment of new participants, in order to not have to deal with bad stuff like this, which has given a bad image to the show and to the brand.
“We absolutely cannot have another season like the one we are about to wrap up.”
