LOVE Island USA star Cierra Ortega was arrested for driving under the influence and was sentenced to jail years before the show, The U.S. Sun has exclusively learned.
Cierra, 25, was fired from Love Island USA after a social media post resurfaced of the star using a racial slur.

Cierra revealed she will not take part in the Love Island USA season 7 reunion airing on Monday, August 25 on Peacock.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Cierra was busted for a DUI in Arizona years before the controversy.
In court papers obtained by The U.S. Sun, Cierra was pulled over by police on January 28, 2021 at 12:12am while driving a white Jeep.
She was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or more, speeding, failure to drive in a single lane and no proof of insurance.
Cierra drove 50 miles per hour in a 30-mile-per-hour zone.
She was ordered to appear in court on February 23, 2021.
Cierra accepted a deal and pleaded guilty to driving under the influence at a July 2021 court hearing.
The other four charges were dismissed.
Cierra was sentenced to 10 consecutive days in jail.
Nine of the days were to be suspended upon successful completion of alcohol screening and she had zero credits for time served.
She was ordered to pay $1,848 in court costs and fines.
She agreed to attend an Alcohol Abuse Screening and successfully complete all treatment.
An Arizona judge agreed to the terms.

TIME IN THE VILLA
Cierra was a fan-favorite on Love Island USA as the first female bombshell to enter the villa.
Cierra coupled up with Nic Vansteenberghe and the two explored their connection throughout the show, even closing off their relationship ahead of the finale.
But a week before the finale, Cierra was sent home over a resurfaced social media post.
The post read, “Botox isn’t for everyone but I love it for me!!!
“I am incredibly expressive with my face and I catch myself frowning for no reason throughout the day when I’m focusing on something or thinking too hard lol.
“I can also be a little ch***y when I laugh/smile so I love getting a mini brow lift to open up my eyes and get that snatched look.”
She apologized in a video when she returned home from Fiji, as she said, “I want to first start by addressing, not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community.
“I am deeply, truly, honestly, so sorry. I had no idea that the word held as much pain, as much harm, and came with the history that it did, or I never would have used it.
“I had no ill intention when I was using it. But that’s absolutely no excuse, because intent doesn’t excuse ignorance.”
Nic explored a connection with Olandria Carthen when Cierra left the series.
The two initially tried to explore a connection during Casa Amor, but he returned to Cierra.
The couple finished in second place and continue to go strong outside of the villa.
Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were voted the winners of Love Island USA season 7.
REUNION DRAMA
Cierra will not appear on Monday night’s reunion.
She said in a TikTok video in July, “At this time, I will not be at the reunion.
“I feel lighter knowing that my perspective, my thoughts and my feelings and my emotions are out there.
“The experience did end negatively because of my own actions. That is something I’ll have to deal with.”
In a trailer for the reunion, Bryan addresses rumors he cheated on Amaya, saying, “I had a lapse in judgment.”

A source previously told The U.S. Sun, “The participants were very tense, very eager to solve some issues between each other and literally almost everyone came to get into some arguments and show and express their frustrations.
“This is the most tense and toxic reunion ever.
“We had some participants arguing as soon as they got there, some of them even started being rude to each other and didn’t greet each other. It really looked like a war zone as almost everyone wanted to yell, argue and show their most toxic and angry side.”
The insider revealed “extra security” was hired for the reunion.
The source continued to claim, “Some people had to calm down because some insults were exchanged on the set, and we had to make frequent stops to have security guys come to calm down many people.
“We had to do some pauses on the recording of the reunion at least 10 or 12 times. That was the most tense, toxic, reunion ever.”
