MAC Jones was forced to fact check the amount of bananas he ate on Thursday Night Football.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback was struggling with cramps on Thursday and was combatting that with bananas.

However, while being shown on the broadcast eating one, Al Michaels said that Jones had eaten 11 bananas.
This went viral on social media and fans ran wild with Jones’ banana consumption.
It went so viral that Jones was forced to comment on it after the game.
“Eleven? That’s definitely wrong, but…,” he said.
“I think I had three. Yeah, that (the banana figure) was incorrect, but they can believe whatever they want.”
Jones has turned into the 49ers’ savior this season.
He started the year as the backup to Brock Purdy, but has played in three of the 49ers’ five games this season due to injuries to Purdy.
Jones is now 3-0 in his time as the starter and has great stats to back it up.
In three games he has 905 passing yards, six touchdowns, and just one interception.
He is leading the NFL in yards per game at 301.
“He played his ass off,” 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said.
“He was unbelievable in the first half. Got banged up a little bit there in the second half, and battled through it, and protected the ball.
“Going against that defense and throwing the ball that many times and not having a turnover and protecting it like he did, I can’t say enough good things about Mac.”
There is no word about whether or not Purdy will return to the 49ers offense next week yet.
However, if Jones continues to play at this level San Francisco might need to start having some conversations about who their starting quarterback is.
You never want to see a quarterback lose his job due to injury, but Jones is playing at an incredibly high level this year.
