Lamar, much to the surprise of American football and Hip-Hop fans around the world, performed his hit diss track ‘Not Like Us’ during the half-time show.
The performance, which included an appearance from tennis legend Serena Williams, is still being talked about.
That’s despite it taking place over FIVE MONTHS ago.
And it’s sensationally in line to win not one, but TWO Emmy awards.
The performance has earned 2025 Emmy nominations for the ‘Outstanding Music Direction’ and ‘Outstanding Variety Special’ awards.
A whopping 135 million viewers tuned in for Lamar’s half-time show.
Upon the commencement of ‘Not Like Us’, viewers wondered if the Californian would perform the full x-rated version.
Given that he was performing in front of an audience of a variety of ages, Lamar decided to keep it PG.

He omitted curse words and a wild and unfounded accusation towards Drake.
But that didn’t stop some disgruntled viewers from complaining about the performance.
The FCC received 125 complaints from viewers of the viral performance.
Should Lamar scoop the live award, it’ll be the second time he’s won the gong.
He won it in 2022 for his epic half-time performance with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dog at Super Bowl 56.
