A LONG-AWAITED chapter is due to begin for a JCPenney location that closed its doors almost five years ago.
The 50,000-square-foot retail space in Idaho will finally welcome a new tenant tomorrow.

For years now, locals near the Lewiston Center have eagerly anticipated the news of what would fill the huge space.
Remaining empty since JCPenney left, it’s been revealed that another iconic storefront will moving in.
CRAFT LOVERS REJOICE
Hobby Lobby will instead be taking up the vacant space.
The new store will open up its doors on June 9, and shoppers are preparing for summer craft hauls.
The location will be open Monday through Saturday, from 9am to 8pm.
Known for its wide range of inventory, the chain offers over 80,000 products.
Shoppers can find everything from home decor and floral arrangement supplies to party planning essentials, fabric, and much more.
Lewiston Center management shared their enthusiasm, calling it a “big win” for the community.
“Their arrival brings not only a beloved national brand to our community but also new energy and opportunity for the Lewiston Center and the region as a whole,” shared Center Manager Billy Jeffrey Scharnhorst.
“This addition enhances the shopping experience for our residents and visitors, while supporting local jobs and economic growth.”
