MCDONALD’S has apologized after a customer found the ice cream machine broken at three different restaurants in only two days.
They have called on McDonald’s to just take ice cream-based items off the menu as they are convinced they are only there for a “joke”.

The customer was left furious with McDonald’s after failing to find a functioning ice cream machine at three separate restaruants.
The ice cream machine is usually used for things like milkshakes or McFlurry desserts.
But the customer, called Colt, was unable to grab one of these sweet treats, and took to the social media platform X to complain.
The post from Thursday said: “@McDonalds why don’t you just take milk shakes or anything that has ice cream off your menu.
“I’ve stopped at 3 different McDonald’s in the last 2 days and couldn’t get a shake at either of them.
“I’m beginning to think you guys just do it for a joke.”
This tirade forced McDonald’s to issue an apology.
The fast food giant replied: “That’s not how we want things to be for you, Colt.
“We’d like to know more details about your visit via DM & we’ll look into this for you.”
It is impossible to tell which McDonald’s locations Colt tried, as they are not mentioned in the post.
Similarly, it is not known if Colt ever responded to the request to give more information.

In another customer complaint to hit McDonald’s, one person called out the chain for receiving the completely wrong item in her delivery.
They revealed that they were left feeling “nauseous” after finding the unexpected item, and told the chain to “do better”.

Kenya Humphries took to TikTok to reveal why the machine is always turned off, and the employees are unable to do anything about it.
The employee revealed that the reason is most likely because the machine is being cleaned, which happens one day a week.
Kenya said that staff usually pick one day a week to turn the machine to have it cleaned.
However, Kenya did add that she saw another TikTok video of a woman stating staff turn the machine off when it gets busy.
Kenya stressed that this is not the case where she works.
She said: “It’s genuinely getting cleaned, or it’s been used that many times that it’s broken.”
It turned out, the customer actually found a McRib in her bag, when it should be been chicken nuggets.
The picture posted to X shows the chicken sandwich awkwardly stuffed into the box that is clearly too small.
Posting on X, the customer said: “This is ridiculous. Why did I receive a McRib in my chicken nuggets?
“I am actually repulsed, the smell of this McRib made me sick.
“I’m so nauseous now. McDonalds, do better.”
It is unknown if there was a delivery mix-up, as the food was delivered by the popular app DoorDash.
