FOODIES have lots to be excited about as the top fast food chains have announced their summer menus.
With plenty of new food, drink and dessert options, some restaurants are even offering exclusive deals.

Milkshakes seem set to be the refreshing drink of the summer, with most chains including their own take on the deliciously creamy beverage.
Chick-fil-A’s popular Peach Milkshake returned for its 16th year on June 9, while Wendy’s new Frosty Fusions are available in a range of flavours.
The Wendy’s sweet treat, which can be drunk through a straw or eaten with a spoon, is available in vanilla or chocolate, with a selection of flavoured sauces to customise the ice-cold refreshment.
For savvy foodies, Wendy’s are running an 100 Days of Savings deal throughout the summer, giving you the most bang for your buck.
Between June 7 until July 26, customers can get a $1 Dave’s Single with any purchase from the Wendy’s menu – so why not finish off your main with their new Frosty Fusions.
Meanwhile Taco Bell and McDonald’s have announced new menu items to rival the popular Popeyes summer line up.
Earlier this month, Popeyes announced their limited edition range of chicken wraps which are filled with a chicken tender, lettuce, shredded cheese, pickles and either classic, spicy or honey mustard spread.
It follows on from their fried pickles and pickle glaze chicken sandwich that was released at the beginning of April and is set to return this summer.
Rivalling Popeyes is McDonald’s‘ own line of snack wraps featuring their McCrispy Strips which were released country-wide at the start of May.
The chicken, which is coated in breading with a black-pepper flavour, will be available in wrap form from July, complete with shredded lettuce and cheese.
Meanwhile several other chains are offering new chicken menu items as the fried food has boomed in popularity over the last few years.
After Taco Bell’s chicken nuggets sold out in under a week last year, the irresistible menu item is back.
Marinated in a “zesty jalapeño buttermilk flavour” and “breaded with a blend of breadcrumbs and crispy tortilla chips,” the item is sure to wow customers with their option to pair it with Mike’s Hot Honey Diablo Sauce.
Chipotle CEO Scott Boatwright has already seen a positive response to their chicken-based menu item which launched in March 2025.
Their Chipotle Honey Chicken has “fresh chicken hot off the grill, seasoned with savoury Mexican spices, in a marinade of seared, smoked chipotle peppers and a touch of pure honey.”
The popular chain is also offering lots of exclusive deals this summer – totalling 130,000 free burritos as they will be giving out 10,000 every week from June 1 to August 31.

Those looking for a bargain might be due a trip to Burger King this summer, with the chain offering a range of deals throughout June.
This Father’s Day, Royal Perks members can gift their dad a BOGO Whopper, while National Onion Ring Day on June 22 brings a free portion of the celebrated snack in any size.
Alongside the discounts, Burger King are also offering a “How to Train Your Dragon” themed burger.
The limited-time items include a Dragon Flame-Grilled Whopper, Fiery Dragon Mozzarella Fries, Viking’s Chocolate Sundae and a Soaring Strawberry Lemonade.
