MEGHAN Markle’s latest dig at the Royal Family is another contrived and exaggerated attack to promote her Netflix show, an expert claimed.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, launched her freshest swipe at the Firm during at interview with Emily Chang on Bloomberg Originals.

The Duchess said she felt she couldn’t be vocal while in the UK[/caption]

She told how she felt “inauthentic” and could “not be as vocal” during her time in the UK.
The mum-of-two, who lives in a £12million Montecito mansion and spends her evenings learning French on Duo Lingo, was asked if it’s hard to appear “relatable”.
I think Meghan’s take on the royal family is very exaggerated, because she wants to make a point

She replied: “No, I’m just being myself. I think it was probably different several years ago where I couldn’t be as vocal and I had to wear nude pantyhose all the time…
“…That felt a little bit inauthentic.”
But esteemed royal expert Ingrid Seward slammed the Duchess and claimed her comments are part of a promotional campaign for With Love, Meghan.
“The thing is, we wouldn’t be watching this Netflix show, if Meghan wasn’t married to who she is married,” she told The Sun.
“What she’s trying to do, I feel, is divorce herself from who she is for this particular show, and yet at the same time, she’s using who she is, because otherwise no one would be remotely interested in watching it, and Netflix wouldn’t have made it.
“She’s trying to have it both ways… and she can’t.”
It is not the first time the Duchess of Sussex has made shocking claims against the royals.
Alongside her husband, the pair have repeatedly trashed the Royal Family.
Meghan has previously alluded to the fact she has “receipts” that could back up her allegations against The Firm.
Some of their claims came from their infamous 2021 Oprah interview, the Duke’s book Spare and his most recent explosive BBC interview.
The royal biographer also touched on Meghan’s time on Suits, but dubbed her “never a very important actress”.
“She dresses beautifully, and I think she’s very pretty, but I find her manner on this show is very controlling, and it doesn’t seem to be very natural and happy,” she said.
Ms Seward described With Love, Meghan as “very contrived” as opposed to “genuine” cooking programmes out there.
“And also, you didn’t learn anything, because she didn’t actually show you how to do things,” she continued.
The biographer also believed the program was “very carefully constructed and produced”.
“All the guests were her friends, and yes, there were some famous people there, but basically they’re very famous in America,” she added.

“And it was always a lot of hugging and kissing… but it just did not feel real.”
Ms Seward also thought it was “really sad” Prince Harry didn’t appear on the show – except for in two background photographs.
“Imagine if the show had been Meghan teaching Harry how to cook… what fun that would be,” she said.
“He could be joking with her about the way she pronounced things like -erb and herb… apparently he teases her about that.
“I think that would have made a wonderful show. It would have made people sit up and watch it.
“But it makes us realise that she is simply of no interest without Harry – certainly for the global market that she’s trying to reach.
“I feel that Harry is a bit lost, and I feel that Harry is probably very controlled by Meghan, and she’s the one that wants to be the star.
“But, she is of no interest apart from her link to Harry.”
The Duchess was actually slammed for being hypocritical after revealing the 40th birthday present she bought her hubby.
She showed off a blue PH40 baseball cap she made for Harry with the initials PH.
The monogram referred to his royal title, Prince Harry, despite the fact the pair stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.
‘MEGHAN MUST HAVE KNOWN’
Ms Seward delved into further analysis of the Duchess’ Bloomberg interview.
She reflected on Meghan’s early interactions with the media and how “she certainly started off saying what she wanted to say”.
“Meghan was very vocal then,” continued the expert.
The biographer also cast doubt over her claim to know nothing about life in the Institution.
“Harry would have told her,” she said.
Ms Seward then dissected Meghan’s self-professed “silly example” of being made to feel “inauthentic” – wearing nude pantyhose.
“She obviously felt constrained, and then she went on about having to wear, sort of pantyhose, sort of really pale pantyhose,” said the expert.
“Well, the Queen never, ever made those kind of rules. If Meghan looks back at her late mother-in-law. I mean, Diana never wore pantyhose. She always was bare-legged.
“So, I think Meghan’s take on the royal family is very exaggerated, because she wants to make a point.”
‘VERY MIXED MESSAGE’
When Meghan first made her mark within the Royal Family, she expressed several political views.
But Ms Seward claimed they only sparked interest because this broke protocol.
“You could see that Meghan liked the sound of her own voice, and she had a voice, but we’re not interested. I don’t even know what her real beliefs are,” she added.
“So she puts out a very mixed message, she says a lot, and says nothing.
“I think sometimes, when Meghan’s talking, I don’t think she knows what she’s trying to say.”
The expert doubted the Duchess’ ability to articulate “simply and strongly”, especially in her cooking show.
And, speaking on how the Firm may react to her latest digs, Ms Seward said they’d “pay absolutely no attention whatsoever”.
“It won’t interest them. They don’t like her,” she continued.
Meghan’s Bloomberg interview comes just hours after Netflix released the second season of her cookery and lifestyle show.
Meghan had teased the cringey episodes with a trailer earlier this month, in which she said she loved “finding ways to show she cares”.
The Duchess of Sussex’s new episodes – with more celebrity guests – also open up on her Royal Wedding and anniversary.
The show was renewed for a second run after the first season dropped in March, despite mixed reviews from critics and fans.
The second series has premiered two weeks after Harry and Meghan announced a watered-down deal with the streaming giant Netflix.
They signed a “multi-year, first-look deal for film and television projects”, instead of a reported $100million contract five years ago.
