MICAH Parsons’ agent claims that the NFL superstar did everything he could to stay at the Dallas Cowboys.
Parsons recently signed a mammoth contract with the Green Bay Packers after a trade from the Cowboys.

The four-year deal is worth $188 million and makes the linebacker the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
However, on Tuesday, his agent, David Mulugheta, told ESPN’s “First Take” that Parsons wanted to stay in Texas.
He said, “Micah loves the game too much. He was going to play no matter what.”
“I think the most important thing is Micah wanted to be a Cowboy.
“He grew up cheering for the Cowboys, wore the blue and white at Penn State, wore it in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys.
“He wanted to be a Cowboy, and we did everything we could for him to remain a Cowboy.”
However, Mulugheta revealed that the Cowboys refused to negotiate with him.
This is because Jerry Jones, the owner and GM, believed he had personally reached an agreement with Parsons in a meeting in March.
The agent continued, “If you’re a 25-year-old football player and your boss, who happens to be the most powerful person in the NFL, starts talking about contracts, it’s hard for you to end that conversation.
“So they had a conversation. Micah nodded his head out of respect.
“Obviously, there’s a power dynamic that’s a little different there.
“One guy’s the owner of the team and the GM, and the other one is Micah Parsons, a young 25-year-old football player.
“So, I’m not sure if there was miscommunication there by the time Micah walked out, but at no point did Micah believe that he was negotiating a contract.”
Mulugheta said that he tried to negotiate several times before and after that meeting, but that Dallas didn’t want to talk.
However, sources told ESPN that Mulugheta never made an offer to the Cowboys.

During the contract dispute with the Cowboys, the linebacker did not participate in their training camp or preseason.
And he was even accused of sleeping on the Dallas sideline.
The 26-year-old was traded for two first-round NFL Draft picks and defensive lineman Kenny Clark.
The Packers open their season against the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
