It is increasingly unlikely that Parsons will play in Dallas‘ season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.
He has been tipped for a trade to the Green Bay Packers.
And the four-time Pro Bowl selection was spotted at Dallas-Fort Worth airport Wednesday night.
It’s not known where the defensive superstar was heading to or what it means for his hopes of playing.
Parsons, 26, requested a trade away from the iconic franchise at the start of August.
He said on social media, “I no longer want to play for the Dallas Cowboys.”
The pass rusher is seeking a new contract worth around $200 million, reflecting his status within the team.
With a contract deal stalling, the Packers are leading the charge for Parsons.
As predicted by NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, exploratory trade talks have been held.
Reporter Sean Wright has stated that talks are intensifying and the Packers looking to finalise the deal before the end of the week.
It has been suggested that they would have to pay in the region of $45 million per season to Parsons.
And Rapoport said on The Pat McAfee Show last week, “I would expect that the Packers would be among the teams interested.
“They need one final piece and this guy is an absolute dawg.
“He’s worth all the money so pay him all the money.”
Parsons has attended team meetings and walk-throughs to protect himself from fines.

“We had our agreements on term, amount, guarantees and everything. We were gonna send it over to the agent,” owner and general manager Jerry Jones explained.
To underline his intentions, Parsons has removed any mention of the Cowboys from his X account.
His bio now reads “Penn state 2021. TBD” which suggests he is not considering a new deal in Dallas.
The 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year was selected in the first round of the draft and has performed well in the AT&T Stadium.
Parsons is one of two players in NFL history to record at least 12 sacks in each of their first four seasons, joining Reggie White.
