Michael Strahan cuts off Terry Bradshaw and tells Fox NFL Sunday star ‘let me have my time’ after quarterbacks jibe

MICHAEL Strahan stopped Terry Bradshaw from talking during a sequence on Fox NFL Sunday.

The New York Giants legend quickly fired back at Bradshaw after a remark the Pittsburgh Steelers icon made during the Week 4 edition of the football pregame show.

Midway through Fox NFL Sunday, the show displayed Charissa Thompson’s pre-recorded interview with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones.

The former first-round pick entered Sunday leading his team to a 3-0 record and recording six total touchdowns and no turnovers.

After the interview, the show returned to Thompson, who was in the Fox NFL studios, as she was in front of a TV next to the desk with the show’s stars.

Thompson spoke about Jones’ emergence and that moving on from the Giants to eventually land on the Colts last offseason has been great for the 28-year-old.

The Giants icon Strahan then gave his thoughts on Jones, whom he had spent time with during his five-plus years with Big Blue.

“I spent a lot of time with Daniel Jones in New York. Played a lot of golf with Daniel Jones,” Strahan said.

“This kid always wanted to be better.

But Strahan then mentioned Jones’ golf game, which turned into a diss at the quarterback position.

“His golf is very good, like all quarterbacks’ games are, because quarterbacks don’t do much during the week,” he joked.

“They don’t get hit like the rest of us.”

The dig made by Strahan, an ex-defensive end, got the attention of the former quarterback Bradshaw, who then said, “That’s wrong.”

But Strahan quickly cut off Bradshaw.

“Let me have my time,” the 53-year-old replied.

Bradshaw and host Curt Menefee both smiled at Strahan’s remark as he continued to talk about Jones.

“Daniel Jones always wanted to be better. He always wanted to be a leader,” Strahan said.

“Having this chance in Indianapolis has paid off.”

Unfortunately for Jones, he would throw a touchdown and two interceptions in the Colts’ 27-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

And Strahan’s Giants would find a way to earn their first victory of the season, with a narrow 21-18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
