MICHAEL Strahan made a bold prediction about the New York Jets on Fox NFL Sunday.
The Jets head into their Week 4 clash against AFC East rivals, the Miami Dolphins, 0-3, the same as their rivals.

Despite their struggles, Strahan believes things will soon change for the Jets with Aaron Glenn at the helm.
Speaking on Fox NFL Kickoff in a cameo before Fox NFL Sunday, the pundit stated that he believes the Jets are one to watch.
He commented that they could follow a similar path to the Detroit Lions, who have become a formidable team over the last few seasons.
Strahan said, “I look at them, and knowing Aaron Glenn as well as I’ve known Aaron for so many years, knowing Dan Campbell in Detroit, seeing what they went through at first and then all of a sudden, guys buy into the culture, and it turns around.
“They become that gritty team. I didn’t expect the Jets to turn it around all in one year.
“But I expect to see flashes from them, which we have seen.
“So I think Aaron Glenn is on the right track with this team.
“They’ve just got to keep the quarterback healthy, and the guys just have to stay and believe in the plan and what you have.
“And I believe that the Jets could be that AFC East Detroit team in the next few years.”
Before Dan Campbell’s tenure as head coach began in 2021, Detroit had last won their division title in 1993.
Their rise under Campbell has been meteoric.
Having spent over 30 years without a postseason victory, the Lions won back-to-back NFC North titles in 2023 and 2024.
They also made it to their first NFC Championship game since 1991 two years ago.
And during this time, their defensive coordinator was the newly appointed Jets coach, Glenn.

The Jets’ troubles haven’t been quite as stark as the Lions, but they have been one of the worst NFL teams over the last fifteen years.
New York’s last appearance in the playoffs was back in 2010.
They also haven’t topped their division since 2002.
Their only Super Bowl victory came back in 1968 at Super Bowl III.
Last year, the Jets finished 5-12, sacking Robert Saleh five games into the season.
His replacement, Jeff Ulbrich, lasted the remaining 12 games but was replaced by Glenn ahead of 2025.
