SAN Francisco Giants star Mike Yastrzemski left fans amazed with a catch he pulled off in the outfield.
Yastrzemski, 34, tracked a flyer all the way before being forced to make a leap to complete the catch.

The catch happened during the San Francisco Giants’ game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Yastrzemski tracked the ball off the bat of Jack Suwinski all the way in the eighth inning.
The outfielder didn’t take his eyes off the ball for a second.
But he was running out of space in the corner of Oracle Park.
The 34-year-old then needed to make a diving catch as he closed into the nets separating fans from the field.
And fans watching the catch couldn’t believe what they saw.
“Catch of the year nominee,” one said.
“My goodness,” another gasped.
While a third said, “unreal catch.”
The highlight proved to be just that for the Giants.
They were beaten 2-1 by Pittsburgh in an extra innings.
And Yastrzemski has been linked with a trade away before the MLB deadline Thursday.
The 34-year-old has been with the Giants since 2019.
A recent report from Fansided’s Zachary Rotman claimed that he would be a possible trade candidate this week.
“He’s in the final year of his contract, and it’s hard to envision him sticking around beyond this season,” Rotman wrote.

“Heliot Ramos and Jung Hoo Lee are solidified in two of the outfield spots.
“And the third spot should belong to Drew Gilbert, an outfield prospect San Francisco acquired in the Rogers trade, sooner rather than later.
“If Yastrzemski won’t be back next season, the Giants might as well get something for him now.
“The return won’t be anything outrageous giving Yastrzemski’s expiring contract status and the fact that he has a sub-.700 OPS this season, but his value shouldn’t be non-existent.”
The Giants are third in the National League West with a 54-55 record.
