A YOUNG girl has been found dead after her adoptive mother said she put her body in a tote and dropped her in the river, according to reports.
Renesmay Eutsey, 9, was located in a river on Thursday after she had been reported missing just a day prior by her adoptive mom.

A woman the girl lived with said that other children in the Pennsylvania house claimed Renesmay had talked about wanting to run away, according to the criminal complaint obtained by WTAE.
But one child quickly dispelled the story by telling officers that “I’m never going to see my baby sister again because she’s in heaven,” the outlet reported.
Another one of the children then told police that their mother, Kourtney Eutsey, 31, had killed her and put her body in a tote, and that both of the women said “they were going to take the victim to a river ‘far, far away,’” the complaint says.
Renesmay was reportedly screaming for help as the children watched the two adults yell and kick her in the stomach.
One of the children then said the little girl appeared to be sleeping after her body was put into a black garbage bag inside of a tote carried by the adoptive mom, the report claims.
Even when Renesmay was reported missing, “Kourtney knew exactly where this child was,” Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele told WTAE.
The outlet reported that Eutsey said Renesmay had burned her back in the bathtub days earlier, and the wound may have became infected, causing the 9-year-old to vomit Tuesday night.
The adoptive mother then said that she tried to perform CPR and remove the vomit from the little girl, but she had died, according to the complaint.
Documents then go on to say that Eutsey told police she didn’t want to call 911 due to Renesmay’s burn and how skinny the child had been.
Police say that Eutsey eventually gave up the girl’s location and officials were able to locate her.
The adoptive mother has been charged with homicide, two aggravated assault charges and concealing the death of a child.
It is unclear if the other woman has been charged yet.
