AN MLB fan has steered clear of a ‘Phillies Karen’ moment after being spotted on live television giving a home run ball to a child in the stands.
The angry Phillies fan’s confrontation with a father has attracted plenty of attention for several days.

During a game between Philadelphia and the Miami Marlins last Friday, a woman Phillies fan berated a father and his son for grabbing a home run ball.
She could be heard saying “that was ours” at father Drew Feltwell before he handed her the ball.
The sequence was spotted on camera and has gone viral on social media.
The incident has caused fans to give kudos to a fan who performed a selfless act after retrieving a ball during a MLB game.
On Monday, the San Francisco Giants hosted the Arizona Diamondbacks.
During the contest, a moment in the stands went viral.
In a video posted by the Giants’ official X account, a man was seen grabbing a home run ball.
After celebrating the achievement, the young man turns to see a fan a few seats away and instantly hands her the ball.
The girl was overjoyed by the gift.
The Giants account would caption the video, “No Karens at our ballpark,” a reference to the Phillies fans’ incident.
Fans praised the fan’s act in the replies.
“This is what it should be all about, the kids,” one wrote.
“Hope this is the new trend: Catch the ball, find a kid,” another commented.
“Now this is how it’s done,” a third said.
“if you see a kid nearby and dont give them the ball, we arent the same,” a fourth added.
“It’s all about enjoying your day and seeing smiles on children. NOTHING MORE!” a fifth shared.
Fortunately for the young Phillies fan, Lincoln, he was able to meet Phillies star outfielder Harrison Bader, who hit the home run ball that sparked the situation.
Bader also gave Lincoln his bat after the game.
