MLB star Sean Hjelle addressed the claims of abuse and affairs made by his wife for the first time.
The San Francisco Giants pitcher, 28, was accused in a viral TikTok post.

Caroline Hjelle shared a video on the platform Saturday holding her two sons.
She added a caption claiming Sean “abandons us on Mother’s Day.”
And Caroline added, “Once I finally found about his affairs and stopped putting up with his abuse.
“So I’ve been raising two boys alone.”
The pitcher was asked about the allegations after a game against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday.
“I don’t have an official comment right now,” he said.
“I would like to talk to my agent, my lawyer.
“This has been something that has been going on for over a year now in terms of our relationship, our divorce, our separation and everything.
“I don’t have any official comment right now, I just want to talk to the appropriate people to figure out what the steps are.
“I’m just taking it in stride right now. No official comment right now.
“I feel confident saying that I will have one eventually.
“I don’t have an exact timeline on that.
“I would like to actually get with the people that are handling the situation with me and for me before I actually make an official statement.”
The San Francisco Giants also released a statement addressing the accusations made by Hjelle’s wife.
“We are aware of these serious allegations,” it read.
“We have been in contact with MLB.
“These type of allegations fall under their jurisdiction, and we won’t be commenting further.”
Hjelle has been with the San Francisco Giants since 2022.
He was selected in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft with the 45th pick.
Sean and Caroline have two sons, who were seen in the viral video she posted.
