THE husband of a woman now missing for a second time is at the center of a sickening sexual abuse probe by cops, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
A frantic search for Kayla Bailey, a Florida mom of five, is continuing after the 34-year-old once again disappeared on September 7, having initially gone missing on August 18 only to be found two days later.

She was discovered, according to cops, disorientated, dehydrated and lying on the ground less than a mile from her home in Jacksonville in a wooded area.
Her husband, Joshua, was arrested upon her return home on charges of violating a restraining order she had against him.
Police confirmed that his arrest wasn’t connected to her disappearance.
DISGRACEFUL CLAIMS
But The U.S. Sun has seen a report by the Jacksonville Police Department filed on September 12, after Joshua’s arrest, in which witnesses accuse him of an alleged string of degrading sexual assaults on the couple’s children.
Although the names of the children are redacted, it states an officer was sent to the family home in response to a sexual battery complaint, and was told about physical abuse by Joshua which had allegedly happened “over a period of several years.”
A complainant, whose name was removed from the report, was told each of the children “were forced to participate in games” of a sexual nature.
The U.S. Sun has decided not to reveal the most disturbing, graphic details of the complaint.
But, per the report, another witness, Brittany Thompson told cops that she had “observed suspicious behavior and hypersexuality” in the home.
It is understood a family friend contacted the authorities in the wake of Kayla’s second disappearance on Sunday, September 7, just three days after being released from hospital following her recovery from the woods.
The U.S. Sun has contacted Jacksonville PD and is yet to hear back, but can confirm a copy of the report has been forwarded to the Florida Department of Children and Families.
AUTHORITIES CONTACTED
Joshua remains in jail after violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence which forbids him to be within 500 feet of the family home.
The second missing persons report said her brother Scott asked if she wanted to accompany him to go shopping, but she declined.
Her grandmother also remained in the house. When her brother returned, however, Kayla was nowhere to be seen.
The report confirmed she had not indicated any issues and it wasn’t apparent that she could “cause harm to herself or others before leaving.”

First Disappearance
Sunday, August 17, 2025: Kayla Bailey is last seen at her home.
Monday, August 18, 2025: A missing person report is filed with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Police say they believe she may be in danger.
Tuesday, August 19, 2025: Her husband, Joshua Bailey, is arrested on charges of violating a domestic violence restraining order she had against him. Police state his arrest is not connected to her disappearance.
Wednesday, August 20, 2025: Kayla Bailey is found alive in a wooded area less than a mile from her home. She is found dehydrated and disoriented, and is taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Second Disappearance
Thursday, September 4, 2025: Kayla Bailey is released from the hospital.
Sunday, September 7, 2025: Bailey is reported missing again by her brother and grandmother after she disappeared from the living room while her grandmother was asleep. The search for Kayla remains active.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Lisa Lucas, Kayla’s mom, but is yet to hear back.
She told First Coast News, however, earlier this month about fears her daughter had “walked away from her whole life.”
“This is not my daughter,” she said. “She does not need to be out wherever she is again.”
The local outlet also reported Kayla was wearing brown sandals and a black romper when she went missing.
