The latest: Pennywise is returning to the big screen. It (2017) is back in theaters, just one month before the highly-anticipated It: Welcome to Derry premieres on HBO Max. And it’s time to renew your commitment to sparkle motion, because the entire Twilight franchise is headed back to theaters to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Stephenie Meyer’s original book. Starting on October 29, each of the five films in the franchise will screen for one night, and one night only, so you’d better grab your tickets quick, spider monkey.
Additionally, if you’re dreaming of something a little thinner, TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze re-run has been announced for March 2026. Then there’s Angel’s Egg, the desolate anime fever dream from iconic Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano and director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell), who oversaw this 4K restoration that hits theaters in November for its 40th anniversary.
OG Star Wars will be in theaters for its 50th anniversary on April 30, 2026. Before that, there will be a one night-only double feature of Batman and Batman Returns on August 25 at AMC Theaters. And then, during October, Casper is back for its 30th, running from the 3rd through Halloween.
