However, Whitney, 41, decided to showcase her artwork to her followers and break down the inspiration behind them in a special Instagram post.
The TV personality captured close-up pics of each of the intricate designs, inked on various parts of her body.
In her caption, Whitney explained the significance, or lack thereof, of each, along with when and where she received them.
“Almost all of these were impulsive decisions that don’t have any meaning but here we go! Post 14/30 of giving you what you asked for,” the socialite’s caption began.
Whitney’s collection includes “random” pictures of mountains, animals, scenic views, and sayings spelled in other languages, as well as others she got to match her friends.
The earliest tattoo she underwent was in 2005 in Derry, Northern Ireland, which features a cluster of stars on her ankle.
However, one specific body ink stood out to the TV star as its inspiration was from one of her “favorite” poems by Kahlil Gibran titled On Reason and Passion.
The tattoo is a massive design on her back shoulder, appearing to be a circle filled with trees, clouds, and lightning bolts.
Within the image is a banner with the words, “Rest in Reason Move in Passion.”
She noted that she got the tattoo in 2017 in her hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina.
WHEN IT ALL BEGAN
It appeared that much of Whitney’s body ink was obtained after she rose to fame in 2014, upon being featured in the viral dance video “A Fat Girl Dancing.”
Ever since, Whitney has been a household name among many who followed her reality TV career on the series My Big Fat Fabulous Life.
At the show’s start, the body positive activist weighed 380 pounds, which was partly due to her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
BODY TRANSFORMATION
Whitney has recently shed a considerable amount of weight and has been showing off her slimmer figure online.
In June, she smiled for a mirror selfie donning a black sports bra and skintight leggings.
Whitney wore her hair in a high bun while holding her tiny cat and a green juice.
The reality star again flaunted her smaller waist size in a string of photos in April while celebrating her birthday.
She wore a body-hugging, flowy white dress that beautifully complemented her curves.
Fans couldn’t help but rush to the comments to praise Whitney for her body transformation.
“You look really good you’ve come so far,” one person applauded.
“Oh snap! You look amazing!” echoed another.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life recently concluded its 13th season, and it has been renewed for future episodes, despite rumors that the series was canceled.
