DWIGHT Howard’s wife has filed for divorce just six months into their marriage.
The NBA Hall of Famer was married to Amber Rose Howard earlier this year.

Court documents show that the rapper and reality TV star, better known as Amy Luciani, filed for divorce at a Georgia courthouse on July 1.
She wrote in the documents that “The marriage is irretrievably broken.”
Amber also added that “there are no prospects for reconciliation.”
In the filing, Amber requested all marital assets and property be “equitably divided.”
She also requested alimony in the filing.
Howard and Amber took their relationship public last December to announce that they were engaged.
“Met you and ain’t stop smiling since Superman,” Amber said in a since-deleted Instagram post.
Court documents state that they were officially married on January 11.
Howard is 39 years old and currently plays in the Big3 league.
He spent 18 seasons in the NBA and was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Howard was drafted into the league with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft.
He spent time with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Charlotte Hornets, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Washington Wizards.
Howard was an eight-time All-Star, two-time blocking champ, five-time rebound champ, and three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
He has the 11th most rebounds and 15th most blocks in NBA history.
New rights deal

The NBA signed an 11-year deal with three networks for the league’s rights from the 2025-26 season.
And there will be no games on TNT for the first time since the network launched in 1988.
The Walt Disney Company will continue to show the league with 80 regular-season games across ESPN and ABC.
They will also show around 18 playoff games from the first and second round, a Conference Finals series for 10 of the 11 years, and remain the home of the NBA Finals.
NBC will return as an NBA broadcaster for the first time since 2002.
The network will show up to 100 games per season across it’s channels and Peacock streaming service.
It will also be the home of NBA All-Star and show approximately 28 playoff games from the first and second round.
NBC will show one Conference Finals Series for six of the 11 years, rotating with new broadcaster Amazon Prime.
Amazon will show 66 NBA regular-season games including one on Black Friday.
The streaming service is also the home of the latter stages of the NBA Cup and the entire Play-In Tournament.
Prime will also broadcast around one third of the playoff games in the first and second round.
Amber spent time on TV in seasons 11 and 12 of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
She also released an album titled Amy’s World in 2023.
Her most recent song came out last year.
Amber also models and promotes various brands on her social media accounts.
