NBC cameras forced to quickly cut away and broadcasters stunned in silence after ‘boob grab’ at MLB game

IT’S not often that sports broadcasters are shocked into total silence, but it happened in an MLB game on Saturday.

During a matchup between the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics, the broadcast team was left entirely speechless.

MLB fans were left with an awkward silence after an encounter between fans was caught on camera.

While the Athletics broadcasters were speaking, cameras cut to a fan who proceeded to grab a woman’s chest.

The couple appeared to know they were on camera, and were immediately cut away from.

After the moment, no one dared talk on the broadcast.

“You are a handful, Chris,” the color commentator said shortly after.

What followed was 22 seconds of silence before Rangers third baseman Jush Jung flew out.

Play-by-play broadcaster Chip Caray was seemingly trying to hold in his laughter during the silence, as he chuckled through the pop-up call.

He then delivered an incredible line referencing the earlier scenes as the inning went to commercial.

“That’ll end the inning, A’s down by a few,” he said.

“We’ll try to grab a couple back.”

The moment immediately made it to social media where it went viral, garnering 5.5 million views on X.

Fans couldn’t contain their laughter and shared in the comments of the video.

“They were 100% laughing the whole time and had to mute the mics lol,” one fan said.

“You know they’re laughing off mic,” another fan said.
