NBC set to follow in Fox NFL Sunday footsteps with Sunday Night Football pregame show airing on-site in Week 4

As reported by Awful Announcing, Sunday’s edition of NBC’s Football Night in America will live air on-site from Arlington, Texas.

That will be where the Dallas Cowboys will host the Green Bay Packers in primetime.

That follows decisions taken by Fox and CBS to do NFL pregame shows on-site earlier this season.

In addition, Sunday’s episode of Fantasy Football Happy Hour with Matthew Berry will also air live in Arlington from 11am ET.

A special guest in the form of college basketball play-by-play man John Fanta will also join the broadcast.

It comes following Fanta’s decision to leave Fox for NBC.

He will serve as the lead play-by-play voice of its Big East coverage.

However, he is also contributing to NBC Sports’ Notre Dame football and Big Ten basketball coverage in a studio role.

Week 4 of the NFL starts with the Arizona Cardinals taking on the Seattle Seahawks.

Elsewhere, the New York Giants will face the Los Angeles Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play defending Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles.

One of the Bucs and Eagles will lose their 100 per cent start to the season, with both having 3-0 records so far in the National Football Conference.
