Cameron Douglas is the eldest child of Oscar-winning actor Michael Douglas and also an actor himself.
In addition, his grandparents are the late actors Kirk Douglas and Diana Douglas
On Wednesday, Cameron attended the New York City premiere of Looking through Water.
He stars in the drama film opposite dad Michael, 80, as well as David Morse and Walker Scobell.
Cameron cut a sharp look including a dark green tailored suit, black t-shirt and a gold chain.
It comes just over nine years after Cameron was released from prison.
He was arrested in 2009 and charged with intent to distribute after he was found with nearly a pound of methamphetamine in a New York City hotel.
After being sentenced to five years in April 2010, he pleaded guilty to smuggling drugs into prison in 2011.
Cameron was released in August 2016 and transferred to a New York City halfway house.
Speaking previously to the Daily Mail, he said: “My family never gave up on me, not for one second.”
Cameron is the only child from Michael’s first marriage to Diandra Luker.
As for dad Michael, he married fellow Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones in 2000.
Regarding his stepmother, Cameron added to Daily Mail: “She never gives up on anything and she didn’t quit on me.
“The love of my family got me through my darkest days.”
Through his dad’s marriage to Catherine, Cameron has two younger half-siblings, Dylan and Carys.
Cameron made his film debut in 1997 action comedy Mr Nice Guy, starring Jackie Chan.
His other movies include Loaded, It Runs in the Family and National Lampoon’s Adam & Eve.
