New York Giants ‘fake out’ fans with Taylor Swift cam on big screen for Kansas City Chiefs showdown – ‘next level petty’

THE NEW YORK GIANTS couldn’t resist a not-so-subtle dig at Taylor Swift during their showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Big Blue were beaten 22-9 by Patrick Mahomes and Co at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night.

The pop sensation sneaked into last week’s showdown with the Eagles amid heightened security[/caption]

Swift, 35, was not in attendance in New Jersey to watch fiancee Travis Kelce in action.

But that didn’t stop the Giants having some fun at the Cruel Summer singer’s expense.

During the first quarter, Swift’s mega-hit Welcome to New York suddenly boomed out during a break in play.

A ‘Taylor Cam’ appeared on the jumbotron, initially showing the back of a blonde-haired woman.

The cam was immediately met with huge boos from the Big Blue crowd.

But as the camera panned further down the aisle, it span around to reveal Giants legend Lawrence Taylor.

The 66-year-old – a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Giants – beamed as he smoked on a cigar.

And the boos quickly turned to deafening cheers from the home support.

“This is next level petty,” laughed one fan on X.

“I was there. This was awesome!!” said a second.

Swift was a no-show at MetLife Stadium as the Chiefs recorded their first win of the 2025 season.

The pop princess had watched Kelce in action against the Eagles at Arrowhead last week.

Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, security was ramped up for Swift’s visit to the game.

“They used [a bulletproof] screen to keep her safe,” an insider claimed to the Daily Mail after Swift sneaked into the facility.

“They have used that screen before, but usually it is for the President or someone like that, not a celebrity. But this was a weird week.”

Tight end Kelce, 35, was held to just four receptions and 26 receiving yards on Sunday.

But the Chiefs ground out a 22-9 road win thanks to a standout performance from wideout Tyquan Thornton.

The 25-year-old took advantage of Xavier Worthy’s lingering shoulder issue to score his second touchdown of the season.

It was a night to forget for the Giants, who are now 0-3 under new play-caller Russell Wilson.

The veteran struggled against a dominant Chiefs defense, finishing with just 160 passing yards, 0 TDs and 2 interceptions.
