FOOTBALL fans’ wallets may not be scoring too well this season.
To watch all the NFL games for the 2025 season, you’d need a combination of different streaming services.

Some NFL fans are outraged at the run around they’re getting from subscription services just to watch their favorite games.[/caption]
And together, these could sack you with an annual bill of more than $1,000.
Here’s a breakdown of monthly subscription costs for different viewing services that you may need to catch your favorite NFL games this season.
• ESPN DTC: $29.99/mo (Available August 21)

And some fans are shaking their fists.
“That is so crazy! I’m not spending that much to watch it!” one viewer roared on X.
“That’s criminal,” another fumed.
A third called out, “@NFL viewership is going to decline tremendously based off this.”
And it has some more mature audiences longing for the good old days.
“It’s crazy u can’t just turn on your tv and just watch any game anymore. Crazy times we in,” one person wrote.
“Man I miss regular cable and local channels,” another reminisced.
But those days are long gone. And the playing field has drastically changed.
With the abundance of subscription streaming options available, the NFL can sell licenses to their games to different providers as they see fit.

A NEW PLAYING FIELD
So to watch every game this season, die-hard NFL fans would need at least a half a dozen streaming services and YouTube TV if they don’t have traditional cable, CBS news reports.
“I mean honestly, it’s difficult because you have to go from this streaming service to that streaming service,” Tyler Eno of Walpole told CBS.
“It just doesn’t seem like it’s really worth it.”
So the loyal are going to have to come up with a game plan as to how they’re going to juggle all these services together.
And the total bill will vary as would taxes. You’d also need to take into account any deals or bundles.
An analysis by USA Today made a conservative estimate of between $811 and $883 a year.
But MLFootball put their combo at $1,515.40.
And in the process of coming up with your strategy, it’s important to keep an eye out for any specific promotions that may be available.
You may also be able to cut costs by bundling different services or paying for an annual subscription rather than month-to-month.
And don’t forget to sniff out any available discounts for groups like students and veterans.
