THE first practice of Miami Dolphins training camp was abruptly ended due to an emergency.
The team announced that offensive lineman Bayron Matos was airlifted to the hospital after suffering an injury near the end of practice.

The Miami Dolphins haven’t revealed Matos’ injury, but said he is in stable condition.
NFL fans flocked to social media after hearing the news and offered well wishes for the injured lineman.
“Glad he’s stable. I hope it’s nothing too serious,” one fan said.
“That’s insane. Prayers to him,” another fan said.
“Fortunately, he’s in stable condition. Wishing him strength and a smooth recovery ahead,” a third fan said.
“Wishing Bayron Matos a swift and full recovery. Glad to hear he’s in stable condition,” a fourth fan said.
“Geez. Hope Bayron is ok,” a fifth fan said.
Matos played basketball at New Mexico and South Florida before switching to football in 2022.
He was born in the Dominican Republic and joined the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program.
Matos signed with the Dolphins last year and spent the season on the practice squad.
