This latest incident occurred as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the New York Giants 22-9 last Sunday.
Patrick Mahomes, 30, took off his arm sleeve and walked towards the crowd.
Mahomes had handed the sleeve to a child wearing a Chiefs cap in the crowd before walking away.
However, shocking footage shows an unidentified adult taking the souvenir from the child’s hands.
The adult was wearing Giants gear.
Footage of the incident shows the empty-handed child reacting to the heartbreaking incident.
“Yo, she just stole that from me!,” he said.
The child was reportedly at the game to celebrate his tenth birthday.
This has sparked NFL fans on social media to criticize the adult’s actions.
“That’s straight clown behavior stealing from a kid,” one fan posted.
“Wow, what a loser move,” another replied.
The Chiefs snapped their losing streak against the Giants after starting the 2025 NFL season with back-to-back losses.
“This is awful,” a third fan commented.
This controversy comes after the Phillies Karen incident during an MLB game.
