Dickerson shared his true feelings about the Browns, telling TMZ that he thinks Cleveland is “a bad football team.”
He also said that he thinks the team has a history of ruining quarterbacks, and the same could happen to Sanders.
“I hate to see him there,” Dickerson told TMZ.
“I wish they would have cut him. Let him have an opportunity to go to a better football team.”
Dickerson shared that he thinks the Browns never “really wanted him.”
He also said that Sanders won’t get a “fair shot” with Kevin Stefanski as head coach.
“I don’t think the coach wanted him — they should have fired him too,” Dickerson said.
He continued by saying he’s “not a Browns fan at all, I could care less.
“But I’m a Shedeur fan. I’m a Deion Sanders fan.”
Dickerson has been vocal about Sanders’ short tenure in the NFL so far.
Last month ha claimed that the NFL ordered teams not to draft Sanders.
He doubled down on that to TMZ, saying he got the information from “a guy who works for the National Football League.”
“I just feel like it was wrong what they did to him,” Dickerson said.
“I mean, look, Mel Kiper said in 30 years he’s never seen nothing like this.
