The 41-year-old announced her decision on social media on Tuesday after a decade on the show.
Fans have now suggested that Kay Adams, 39, should be the one to take her place.
Adams left the NFL Network to work for FanDuel TV in 2022.
Since leaving, she has hosted her own daily show on the NFL called Up & Adams on FanDuel TV.
With the NFL Network now under the control of ESPN, it has been suggested that she could make her return.
Commenting on a recent Instagram post, one fan commented, “You should take Molly [Qerim’s] place.”
“Keep crushing Kay, awesome seeing you doing so many different things,” another added.
Outside of football, Adams has appeared on a mobile version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Impractical Jokers.
“Awesome Kay, so happy to be able to meet you in Sao Paulo,” another fan commented.
Co-host Stephen A. Smith, 57, has temporality taken over from Qerim as ESPN search for their long-term replacement.
It is currently unclear whether Qerim will return to First Take, or if she has left with immediate effect.
This could open the door for Adams to step in.
Adams has also received praise for her previous work on other networks.
“You made the Amazon broadcast,” one fan wrote.
Who could replace Molly Qerim?

Molly Qerim shocked the sports world when she announced she is leaving ESPN.
The presenter has been the host of First Take for a decade.
But she will walk away from the popular sports debate show once her contract is up.
Star analyst Stephen A. Smith could move into the role of host in her absence having filled in before.
Peter Schrager is another name in the mix, having joined ESPN from NFL Network breakfast show Good Morning Football this year.
Another potential replacement for Qerim is Courtney Cronin – a star on Around The Horn with her strong takes.
Christine Williamson and Shae Peppler Cornette are also in the frame having stepped into Qerim’s seat in the past.
ESPN have been busy since Qerim’s departure as they have looked to retain their top talent.
It was announced that Jeff Saturday, 50, has signed a multi-year contract to remain on the network.
Additionally, Malika Andrews, 30, will remain on First Take, among other shows.
The likes of Peppler Cornette, Peter Schrager, Courtney Cronin, and Christine Williamson have also been suggested as potential replacements.
Another option is for Smith to take over in a full-time capacity.
ESPN have plenty of options to replace Qerim long-term.
