Allen was a five-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro at defensive end.
He spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers in his career.
Allen was given his gold Hall of Fame jacket on Saturday in Canton, Ohio and performed his signature calf-roping celebration on stage.
However, that’s where things quickly went wrong.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Allen dropped down to a knee and instantly tore a huge hole in his pants.
He immediately noticed the tear after he stood back up and walked off the stage with his family.
The Vikings posted video to their X account, not acknowledging the rip in his pants.
“Yes, he really hit the calf-roping celly in his gold jacket,” the team said.
Fans, however, did not miss the massive hole in Allen’s pants and shared their laughs in the comments.
“Jared Allen hitting this whole ripping his pants at a HOF ceremony is so Jared Allen lmao I miss him so much,” one fan said.
“Our man ripped his pants!” another fan said.
“Roping those calves before exposing those thighs,” a third fan said.
“Should have worn those stretchy jeans,” a fourth fan said.
“And ripped his pants! Legend,” a fifth fan said.
Allen entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft.

He spent his first four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs before being traded to the Minnesota Vikings in 2008.
Allen’s best years came with the Vikings, and he truly cemented his status as a Hall of Famer during that time.
The last two seasons of his career were spent between the Bears and Panthers.
In his career, Allen racked up 136 sacks and 648 total tackles.
His four safeties are the most of all time.
