BRETT FAVRE has given his verdict on Aaron Rodgers making the move to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The veteran quarterback joined the team after leaving the New York Jets at the end of the NFL 2024 season.

Rodgers, 41, weighed up plenty of options, including retiring from the sport, but opted to continue.
He signed a one-year contract worth $13.65million with the Steelers in June.
The deal has made him the highest-paid NFL player of all time at a staggering $360m.
And NFL legend Favre, 55, believes that Rodgers could still be a valuable asset for coach Mike Tomlin in the 2025 season.
Speaking on TMZ, he insisted that Rodgers can help the Steelers win games.
Favre knows Rodgers well having been team-mates with him during a spell at the Green Bay Packers in his playing days.
He said: “I think time will tell, I think it is a good football team, I don’t know a whole lot about them.
“But they are well-coached and have a tremendous history
“He can still play. There’s no question.
“Will he play up to the potential they hope? Time will tell.
“Injuries are always an issues, if he can stay relatively injury-free, I think the guy can bring a lot of victories to the table.
Favre was then asked about Rodgers’ efforts to end his career on a high.
The veteran suffered an Achilles injury in 2023 that could have forced him to hang up his cleats for good, but he battled back to the field.
He added: “Everybody that plays professional sports has got a lot of pride.
“You want to go out on your terms, that is not always the case.

“But you know Aaron is still has the potential to lead a team to the Super Bowl.
“Will he? I don’t know.
“He wants to go out and win, I don’t think that necessarily means winning the Super Bowl but it would be nice if they made a run.”
Rodgers and the Steelers will start the next NFL season against his former team, the Jets, on September 7.
